1. What this document covers
This page describes, in plain English, what personal data BoostScore collects from you, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what control you have over it. It is the placeholder version while our counsel finalises the formal Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 disclosures.
2. Categories of data we process
- Identifiers: phone number, email, PAN, name as printed on PAN.
- Credit-bureau report data, retrieved from Equifax (and, in future, other Indian bureaus) after your explicit consent.
- Consent and audit-trail records the DPDP Act requires us to keep.
- Device and app telemetry needed to keep BoostScore stable and safe.
3. How we use it
Strictly to operate the BoostScore service: showing you your score, generating your improvement plan, processing payments through Razorpay, and meeting regulatory obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers.
4. Where it lives
Your data is stored on servers located in Mumbai (AWS ap-south-1). Encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is limited to authorised personnel under audited controls.
5. Your rights
Access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance — all available from inside the app or by writing to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@boostscore.ai.
6. Changes to this policy
We will notify you in-app at least seven days before any material change to this policy.
